2. Short Paragraph (Speech Type)

Topic: Importance of Discipline (80–100 words)

Good morning respected teachers and my dear friends.

Today I would like to speak about the importance of discipline. Discipline is very important in our life. It teaches us to follow rules and respect others. A disciplined student can achieve success in studies and in life. Discipline also helps us to manage our time properly. Without discipline, life becomes disorganized and difficult. Therefore, every student should practice discipline in school, at home, and in society. Let us all promise to live a disciplined life.

Thank you.

3. Short Writing Task (Story)

Hints: A thirsty crow – hot day – finds a pot – water very low – puts stones – water rises – drinks water

One hot day, a crow was very thirsty. It flew here and there in search of water. After some time, it saw a pot in a garden. The crow looked inside the pot and found a little water at the bottom.

The crow thought of a plan. It picked up small stones and dropped them into the pot one by one. Slowly the water level rose up. The crow drank the water and flew away happily.

Moral: Where there is a will, there is a way.
