Answer:
‘I’ refers to Hari Singh, the narrator of the story. He is a 15-year-old boy and a clever thief.
उत्तर:
‘I’ (मैं) शब्द हारी सिंह के लिए प्रयोग किया गया है, जो इस कहानी का कथावाचक है। वह 15 साल का एक चतुर चोर है।

Answer:
He is “a fairly successful hand” at stealing. He can steal things quickly and cleanly without getting caught.
उत्तर:
वह चोरी करने में काफी सफल है। वह बहुत तेजी और सफाई से चोरी करता है और कभी पकड़ा नहीं जाता।

Answer:

Answer:
Anil doesn’t give Hari to the police because he understands that Hari has realised his mistake. He forgives him and hopes that education will change his life.
He is different from others because he is kind, patient and understanding.
उत्तर:
अनिल हारी को पुलिस के हवाले नहीं करता क्योंकि उसे समझ आ गया था कि हारी ने अपनी गलती मान ली है। उसने उसे माफ कर दिया और उम्मीद की कि शिक्षा उसके जीवन को बदलेगी।
वह दूसरों से अलग है क्योंकि वह दयालु, धैर्यवान और समझदार है।

What lesson does Hari Singh learn in the end?
अंत में हारी सिंह को क्या सबक मिलता है?

Answer:
Hari learns that honesty and education are more important than stealing. He realises that a good life starts with trust and learning.

हारी को यह समझ आता है कि ईमानदारी और शिक्षा चोरी से कहीं ज्यादा जरूरी हैं। वह समझता है कि अच्छा जीवन विश्वास और सीखने से शुरू होता है।

The story teaches us to trust people and give them a chance to change. It also shows the power of kindness and forgiveness.
