👉 Used with countable nouns (जिन्हें गिना जा सकता है)

Determiner Meaning Example Hindi Meaning

Few बहुत कम / लगभग नहीं Few students attended the class. बहुत कम छात्र कक्षा में आए। (लगभग नहीं के बराबर)
A few कुछ / थोड़े से A few students helped me. कुछ छात्रों ने मेरी मदद की।
The few जितने कम हैं, वे सब The few students who came were rewarded. जो थोड़े छात्र आए, उन्हें पुरस्कार मिला।

👉 Used with uncountable nouns (जिन्हें गिना नहीं जा सकता)

Determiner Meaning Example Hindi Meaning

Little बहुत कम / लगभग नहीं There is little hope of success. सफलता की बहुत कम उम्मीद है।
A little कुछ / थोड़ी सी There is a little milk in the fridge. फ्रिज में थोड़ा दूध है।
The little जो थोड़ा है, वह सब The little time we had was enjoyable. जो थोड़ा समय हमारे पास था, वह अच्छा था।

Determiner Used In Example Hindi Meaning

Some Positive sentences I have some friends. मेरे कुछ दोस्त हैं।
Any Negative or Question I don’t have any money. / Do you have any idea? मेरे पास कोई पैसा नहीं है। / क्या तुम्हें कोई अंदाज़ा है?

👉 Much → uncountable nouns, Many → countable nouns

Determiner Used With Example Hindi Meaning

Much Uncountable nouns There isn’t much water in the tank. टंकी में ज्यादा पानी नहीं है।
Many Countable nouns There are many books on the shelf. शेल्फ पर बहुत सारी किताबें हैं।
